According to the data, Mercedes-Benz has shown double-digit growth in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. Sales in the European markets such as Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Poland, Denmark and Hungary set new records for the same period in history. In North America, 24612 new cars were sold in the United States, a year-on-year increase of 22.9 percent.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Mercedes-Benz set a new record for the same period in history with sales of 82039 vehicles (11.6% year-on-year growth). In China, the core market in the region, Mercedes-Benz delivered 59435 new cars to customers last month, a year-on-year increase of 13% and a record high for the same period.

"We are very satisfied with the start of the third quarter," said Britta Seeger, a board member of Daimler who is in charge of Mercedes-Benz car market sales. "in July, Mercedes-Benz's global sales hit a record high, which makes us confident and looking forward to the next few months of the year."

From the perspective of vehicle models, the main models such as Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, S-Class and GLC SUV have continued their good momentum and achieved double-digit growth, especially the explosive growth of compact cars and B-class cars.

Mercedes-Benz compact cars grew by a record 29.7% last month, selling more than 55000 cars. Delivery of the new B-Class cars began in Japan last month, and global sales rose 52.7% in July from a year earlier.

Mercedes-Benz sold about 5800 S-Class cars worldwide, up 17.7% from the same period last year, mainly due to sales of the model in China, while S-Class Maybach also achieved strong growth worldwide.

In addition, about 61000 SUV models such as GLA, GLC, GLC Coup é, GLE, GLE Coup é, GLS and G-Class cars were delivered, down only 1.2% from the same period last year. Mercedes-Benz G-Class cars delivered a total of more than 20000 vehicles worldwide in the first seven months of this year, up 78.7% from a year earlier, and cumulative sales for the whole year are expected to set a record.

The frequent reports of quality problems of Mercedes-Benz do not seem to have much impact on Mercedes-Benz sales! Mercedes-Benz also recalled 302 GLE SUV and GLS SUV vehicles in July because of emissions problems. The reason for the recall is that the vehicle exhaust catalytic converter may be mixed, which can not meet the vehicle emission standards and the relevant requirements of the vehicle diagnosis system, which may lead to the alarm of the vehicle diagnosis system. According to statistics, Mercedes-Benz has announced recalls of as many as 720000 vehicles in the first half of the year.

In the second half of the year, new GLB SUV, new long wheelbase GLC SUV, new GLS SUV and other models will be launched one after another, strengthening Mercedes-Benz's "year of SUV" product lineup; by the end of 2019, Mercedes-AMG will have 30 wonderful models in the Chinese market, creating the largest product line in the field of high-performance vehicles.
