According to domestic media reports, Changan Mazda brand-new generation Mazda 3 Unksera has officially gone offline at the domestic factory in Nanjing and named the generation MAZDA 3 Oncella. The new Mazda 3 was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year, and the appearance of the new car is basically the same as that of the overseas version.

And it is equipped with 1.5L and 2.0L naturally aspirated engines, but it does not use the new generation of Chuangchi Blue Sky SKYACTIV-X engine models with SPCCI spark plug control compression ignition technology.

In terms of appearance, the new generation of Mazda 3 Onksera uses the new Mazda family-style "soul" design language, the overall shape is more avant-garde. Among them, the forward air grille has a larger area, and the center is blackened, with sharp LED headlights on both sides, full of sense of combat.

The rear of the new car is angular, with reflectors on both sides of the simple rear bumper of the new Mazda 3 Oncella, while the double-sided round rear row also adds a lot of movement to the car.

In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4662/1797/1445mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2726mm. Compared with the current model, the length, width and wheelbase of the new car are increased by 80mm, 2mm and 26mm respectively.

The interior design of the new car is relatively simple, and it does not blindly increase the size of the central control screen like some models. The two sides of the dashboard are still traditional pointer type, and the middle part is replaced by liquid crystal display. The air conditioning control part is mostly physical buttons, which is convenient to operate. The multimedia control buttons are distributed in the back end of the handle and are realized by a group of knobs and multi-function keys.

In terms of power, the pre-listed new Mazda 3 Onksera is equipped with Skyactiv-G series 1.5L and 2.0L engines, with maximum power 86kW and 116kW. Due to the complexity of the technology, the previously high-profile Skyactiv-X series HCCI 2.0L engine will not be applied to the new Mazda 3 Oncella until the end of this year or early next year, and the gearbox is expected to still match the 6MT or 6AT.

It is understood that the new car will be unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show in early September, and the pre-sale price will be announced, which is scheduled to be officially launched on September 20.

The new Onksera, as one of the more important models of Mazda, undertakes the task of supporting sales. The replacement of the new car will enhance the competitiveness of the new car in the same class.
