From the perspective of brand sales distribution, Harvard is still the mainstay of the current Great Wall, while the contribution rate of high-end brand WEY, electric brand Euler and pickup brand Fengjun remains at a low level. From January to July, the Harvard brand sold 395760 vehicles, accounting for more than 70 per cent of Great Wall sales. In terms of growth, Harvard's 9.14% growth rate is also ahead of the overall growth rate of the Great Wall. In the long run, Harvard's dominant sales structure is harmful to the enterprise's ability to resist risks, which means that Great Wall needs to make more efforts in high-end, electric and diversified aspects.
In terms of specific models, the market performance of star products such as Harvard H6, F7 and WEY VV6 is still excellent. Among them, Harvard H6 topped the domestic SUV market with a sales score of 23000 vehicles, leading Volkswagen Tuguan L, Honda CR-V, Nissan Qijun, Geely Boyue and other models. F7 continues to show strong market competitiveness, with sales of nearly 10,000 vehicles in July, ranking firmly in the forefront of the SUV market, with cumulative sales reaching 79000, making it one of the few models for independent brands to achieve a balanced development of premium and sales in the 100000 + mainstream SUV market.
In terms of new products, the Great Wall will launch new F7, WEY VV7 GT, Euler R2, cannon trucks and other new models in the second half of the year. Among them, VV7 GT is the first sedan SUV launched by WEY brand. The new car has extremely dynamic slip-back body shape, comparable to medium and large SUV interior space and other product features. On the power side, in addition to the 2.0T turbocharged engine, VV7 GT will also provide a plug-in hybrid system consisting of 2.0T + motors.
From this, it is not difficult to see that the sales volume of Great Wall in July is still very gratifying. Under the current downward situation of the car market, Great Wall can achieve reverse growth. In addition to the strength of its automotive products, its performance-to-price ratio is also very high. But in the outside world, the counter-trend growth of sales has a lot to do with the price for volume. However, whether Great Wall can achieve growth in the next few months.
