Chery's July sales growth was due to the contribution of its star models Ruihu and Erize. In July, Chery Ruihu 8 sold 9241 vehicles a month, up 52.7 per cent from a year earlier and 5.9 per cent from a month earlier, while the Chery Arize series sold 8522 vehicles, up 13.6 per cent from a year earlier and 6.6 per cent from a month earlier. The hot sales of Ruihu and Ai Ruize, a combination of Gemini, made a great contribution to Chery's sales in July.

In addition, as a sub-brand of Chery, Jetway has become a dark horse in Chery's car sales. In July this year, the Jetway brand sold 8170 vehicles a month, an increase of 2% over the previous month. Its cumulative sales from January to July reached 63000, accounting for 17% of the total sales of the Chery Group. This makes Jetway a new sales burden for Chery in its first year on the market.

Chery officially announced that its three major brands, Chery, Starway and Jetway, will launch seven new models in the second half of the year. With the gradual investment of products, Chery's market performance is expected to further improve in the second half of the year.
