Tesla's arbitrary price adjustment in China is nothing new. Recently, Tesla also announced that he would raise the price of all the models on sale in China in September, including the price of the domestic version of Model 3, which will go on sale at the end of the year. As for the reasons for the price adjustment, the official statement is that it is caused by the recent sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate of the renminbi against the dollar.

However, it may be because the domestic version of Tesla is coming, so Tesla is planning to clean up the inventory of cars. According to Tesla officials, three Model 3 models with a price of more than 421000 yuan offer a 36-month interest-free policy (only 36 months, and there is no such policy in other months). The down payment ranges from 15% to 40%, according to the bank's actual assessment of car buyers.

Not long ago, Tesla announced through its official Weibo that the construction of Tesla's Shanghai super factory was smooth. Construction of the plant has been under way for only seven months and is expected to start production by the end of 2019. Weibo has also distributed a site map of the super factory.

It is worth mentioning that Tesla's agreement with the Shanghai government shows that starting from the end of next year, he will pay an annual tax of 2.23 billion yuan to the Shanghai municipal government, otherwise Tesla will have to return the land.
