It is reported that this function is not affected by the battery of the phone, and even when the phone is on the screen, the battery is low, or even the phone is turned off, the car can still be unlocked using Huawei or Glory mobile phone. In terms of security, this function is achieved through the phone's security chip and NFC chip, while Huawei's NFC function follows the CCC specification of the Global vehicle networking Alliance, which stores keys and algorithm logic in the phone chip and will not be accessed by any other third-party applications, without fear of being copied or violently cracked.

To activate this feature, BYD owners need to associate Huawei wallet on BYD's cloud service APP, and then use Huawei or Glory to unlock and lock the car near the left front and rear mirror to activate the car keys.

A battery company founded in 1990 took a decade to become the world's second-largest battery maker in 2003, and BYD started making cars in the same year.

However, there are too many "alternative" technologies on BYD cars. According to incomplete statistics, BYD currently has more than 20,000 patented technologies in China.
