Changan Automobile has launched serious SUV products such as CS15, CS35, CS75 and CS95, while in order to enrich its product range, Changan launched the sedan SUV--CS85, which officially went on sale today, with four models priced in the range of 13.69-169900 yuan. The new car is equipped with Blue Whale 2.0TGDI engine and matches the eight-speed manual self-integrated gearbox, which is also the first model of its own brand to match Aisin 8AT.

Changan CS85 is located between CS75 and CS95. The design of the front face of the new car is inherited from Ruiwei CC. The "butterfly wing" intake grille with rich chrome-plated decorative strips and full LED headlights looks very atmospheric, but it still lacks the sense of movement that a sedan SUV should have as a whole.

The new car uses a slip-back design, the taillight group uses a LED light source, and the penetrating chrome trimming strip further widens the visual effect of the rear, which is somewhat similar to the BMW X6.

In terms of size, the length / width / height of Changan CS85 is: 4720/1845/1665mm, wheelbase 2705mm.

On the interior, CS85 uses red and black colors, chrome plating and piano paint elements are added to many details, equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a large central control LCD screen, below the central control screen are two air conditioning vents, and the guard handle is designed into a yacht style, which is very similar to Audi.

In terms of power, Changan CS85 is equipped with blue whale 2.0TGDI engine in advance, with a maximum power of 233hp, matching an 8-speed manual self-integrated transmission. In the later stage, the 1.5T model will be launched, the 1.5T engine maximum output power 138kW (178Ps), matching 7-speed double clutch gearbox.

Starting from the end of 2017, Changan began the family's "plastic surgery" project. Rui Gao CC, Yitou, Yitou DT and other car series took the lead in using intake grille styling similar to Lexus, and the front face design of this CS85 is also the first time that Changan's latest family design has been applied to Changan SUV products, and the newly listed Changan CS95 will also adopt the latest family-style "butterfly" front face design. There is no denying that this unique-looking Changan CS85 is the most personalized model ever designed in Changan, but the "butterfly wing" front face is still somewhat incongruous on the sedan SUV model.
