FAW-Volkswagen released sales figures for July, with cumulative sales of 157323 vehicles in July, an increase of 2% over the same period last year, ranking first in the passenger car market. Among them, the Volkswagen brand sold 101100 vehicles in July, maintaining a positive growth momentum; Audi brand sales of 56223 vehicles in July, an increase of 6.1% over the same period last year, not only continued the growth momentum of the first half of the year, but also set a new sales record for the same period.

In terms of the Volkswagen brand, 24657 SUV models were sold in July, and the SUV family continued to be shortlisted for the "monthly sales of more than 10,000 clubs". Among them, high-end medium-sized SUV Tanyue, sales of 14496 vehicles in July, sales continued to improve, up 18.0% month-on-month growth of 59849 vehicles from January to July, showing a strong strength in the high-end and medium-sized SUV market; Tange sold 10161 vehicles in July and 63663 vehicles from January to July, ranking second in the market segment.

A total of 76443 cars have been sold in the car market. Bora became the fastest-growing model of the FAW-Volkswagen brand, selling 26957 vehicles in July, an increase of 36.7% over the same period last year. Suiteng, FAW-Volkswagen CC and Maiteng sold 19429, 1931 and 13531 respectively in July.

As for the Audi brand, 52273 domestic models were sold in July, an increase of 10.8% over the same period last year, while imported models sold 3950 in July, forming a two-line cohesion with domestic models.

Among them, Audi Q5L had the most eye-catching performance, selling 13226 vehicles in July, an increase of 45.7% over the same period last year, and won the top spot of luxury SUV in July. The Audi A6 has finally returned, from 4979 in June to 10045 in July, returning to the "10,000 cars Club".

In addition, Audi A4L sold 14501 vehicles in July, with cumulative sales reaching the 100000 mark in the first seven months, ranking the leader in the luxury B-class sedan market. Sales of the new Audi Q3 increased by 188.5% in July compared with the previous month.

On the other hand, imported models continued to maintain a steady performance in July, driving the overall sales of imported models to 36545 units from January to July, an increase of 27.1% over the same period last year.

FAW-Volkswagen continued to show good market vitality in July, with the brand meeting 52% of its 2019 sales target in the first July of this year, while Audi achieved 54% of its sales target. It is understood that in the second half of the year, FAW-Volkswagen Audi will gradually launch new models, such as Audi e-tron and Audi Q8 models, to further enrich the product matrix.
