At the beginning, it was also famous for imitating Porsche, when Zhongtai's sales were no less than those of Geely, Great Wall and Chery today, but now they are very different, and their sales have been getting worse and worse in recent years.
Recently, Zhongtai Automobile also exposed that more than 100 Junma dealers gathered in Zhongtai Automobile headquarters in Yongkang, Zhejiang Province to protect their rights due to the stagnation of the factory and the cut-off of spare parts.
According to relevant sources, Zhongtai Automobile will have a large-scale rights protection incident, nothing more than because a large number of dealers in communication with Junma Motor, found that the Junma Automobile Regional Manager and sales staff who docked with the dealers have left one after another. And according to the words of those who left, the Junma car factory has stopped production.
Then, in March, manufacturers suspended the supply of automatic cars and only produced manual cars. In April, manufacturers began to be in short supply of spare parts, this series of unusual actions, resulting in many car owners' vehicles can not be repaired, basically paralyzed after sale.
In addition, it has been learned that Junma's factory in Changsha has stopped production due to financial problems. After Junma stopped production, some dealers did not know it and still transferred money to the manufacturer to purchase goods, but so far did not mention the car.
In this regard, the main demand of Junma car rights protection dealers to Zhongtai is to require Zhongtai to guarantee the after-sale problems of Junma cars and the supply of spare parts; secondly, return the account balance and fulfill the subsidies and deposits promised to the dealers. Including store subsidy, store deposit, manufacturer's financial discount, sales rebate, channel rebate and so on.
It is reported that the first round of negotiations has been held and Zhongtai has promised to be responsible for Junma Motor. The two sides will hold a second round of negotiations in two weeks' time.
Junma Motor, founded in June 2017, is an independent car brand under Zhongtai Group. When it was first established, Junma Motor put forward a plan to push nine new cars in three years. At that time, Zhongtai Automobile has sold more than 300000 vehicles for two years in a row, and Junma brand has become a rising attempt of Zhongtai brand. But since its establishment, Junma has only launched three models: S70, MEET 3 and SEEK 5, which is far less than expected.
Affected by the general environment of the market, Zhongtai Motor is also having a hard time. According to public data, in 2018, Zhongtai Automobile's business income was 14.764 billion yuan, down 29% from the same period last year; net profit was 800 million yuan, down 36.3% from the same period last year. After deducting a net loss of 1.24 billion yuan, it turned from profit to loss. In the first quarter of 2019, Huatai Motor achieved revenue of 3.969 billion yuan, down 27% from the same period last year, while net profit was 106 million yuan, down 24.8% from the same period last year.
In fact, in August 2018, Zhongtai car dealers went to the gate of the S-Series production plant in Linyi, Shandong Province, pulling banners to protect their rights. Most of the dealers came from representatives of 4S stores in Guangdong and launched rights protection actions because they were dissatisfied with the continuous losses of Zhongtai authorized 4S stores over the years and the poor after-sales service of Zhongtai manufacturers.
Subsequently, Zhongtai Automobile issued a statement saying that the sales of the products did not meet expectations because of the market environment, and that the way dealers "safeguard their rights" was not desirable. Finally, Zhongtai Motor said that it is willing to listen to the views of dealers to achieve win-win results.
Once Zhongtai can be said to be unboiled water, in 2018, it has planned more than 80 dealers market layout. However, due to the macroeconomic slowdown and the continued downturn in the auto market, many car companies have seen a decline in performance, which is even more difficult for their own brands.
