AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)08/20 Report--

A few days ago, in the early hours of the morning in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, a Tesla repair shop was billowing with black smoke. Firefighters entered the door and found an open fire and black smoke coming from under the hood of a Tesla, and the meter box next to it was also on fire. According to reports, 12 fire engines were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and it took more than an hour to put out the fire.

In response, Tesla responded that the vehicle on fire was not in Tesla's official service center, but in a third-party maintenance shop. Tesla also claimed that the vehicle's battery pack had "serious water damage" in the past, and accused the repair shop of not "properly handling" the battery.

In addition, Tesla claims that his vehicles are less likely to catch fire than ordinary gasoline cars. In a new safety report released last month, Tesla said that between 2012 and 2018, Tesla's car caught fire only once for every 170 million miles in the United States.

Tesla said that the vehicle spontaneous combustion was "mishandled" by a third party, but Tesla's spontaneous combustion was not alone.
