By contrast, users' complaints about batteries and motors, the core components of new energy vehicles, were relatively low among all problems, with only 7.4PP100 and 3.4PP100, respectively.
As for the unique quality problems of new energy vehicles, consumer complaints mainly focus on four aspects, namely, insufficient power (2.7PP100), slow charging speed (1.9PP100), abnormal reduction of mileage (1.8PP100) and abnormal power system noise (1.4PP100). The study was based on real feedback from 2770 car owners who bought cars between September 2018 and March 2019. The study covers 41 models from 21 brands, and data collection was conducted in 30 major Chinese provinces between March 2019 and May 2019.

However, the historical development of new energy vehicles is not long-term, and it may not be more mature than fuel vehicles in all aspects. But new energy vehicles must also be the trend of the future.
