"Jetta" rose from a car line to a sub-brand, becoming a FAW-Volkswagen brand focusing on the middle and low end of the market. At present, it is only for China, and its brand positioning mainly competes with its own brands.

The Jetta VS5 is based on the Volkswagen MQB A1 platform and is manufactured in Chengdu. The front face of the new car uses a large hexagonal front grille design, does not hang the Volkswagen brand logo, but Jetta J brand LOGO, the design is inspired by the initials "J" of "JETTA".

In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 4419/1841/1616mm, wheelbase is 2630mm, positioning is compact SUV.

Jetta VS5 interior decoration uses a large area of hard plastic, interior layout has a popular shadow.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an EA211 1.4T engine with a maximum power of 150hp and a peak torque of 250Nm. In terms of transmission, it is matched with the Aixin 6-speed hand-integrated gearbox of the model AQ250.

In terms of chassis, the front suspension of the new car is McPherson independent suspension and the rear suspension is multi-link independent suspension.

The main cost-effective Jetta brand will have a great impact on its own brands, but without the halo of the Volkswagen logo, the acceptance of consumers has yet to be tested by the market.
