The net profit was-1.984 billion yuan, compared with 200 million yuan in the same period last year, and the profit attributable to shareholders was-1.527 billion yuan. It was 199 million yuan in the same period last year.

However, despite the increase in operating income, Evergrande still posted a net loss of 1.984 billion yuan in the first half of the year. Evergrande's loss was mainly due to higher costs in the first half of the year.

According to Evergrande Health announcement, Evergrande Health revenue mainly comes from two major modules: health management and new energy vehicle industry.

As for the subdivision module, health management contributed 80 per cent of Evergrande's benefits, with first-half revenue rising to 2.355 billion yuan from 1.138 billion yuan last year, an increase of 106.90 per cent year-on-year. At present, Evergrande Health has laid out 16 Evergrande Health Valley in Sanya, Xi'an and other places, and plans to achieve more than 50 in the next three years, and is expected to open in 2021. With the gradual completion of the national layout of Evergrande Health Valley, it is expected to promote Evergrande healthy to continue to achieve high growth.

The income of the new energy vehicle industry in the first half of the year was 284 million yuan, accounting for 10.6% of the total income in the first half of the year. It is understood that Evergrande Health's only mass-produced Guoneng 92 has not yet been released to the public. in the automobile business, it mainly sells lithium batteries, technical services and automobile group prices, with income of 253 million yuan, 28 million yuan and 3 million yuan respectively. In addition, Evergrande Health also said at the press conference that Evergrande's new model in cooperation with Koenigsegg will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year.

At the beginning of this year, Evergrande and Koenigsegg jointly set up a joint venture to develop and manufacture new energy vehicles, with Evergrande NEVS holding 65% and Koenigsegg 35%. The joint venture company will use Koenigsegg's technology patents and brands. This cooperation is also one of many mergers and acquisitions and cooperation launched by Evergrande since it announced its entry into the automobile industry.

Evergrande Health said it would build bases in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang, Zhengzhou and Guiyang. In Shenyang, Evergrande Health will invest in the construction of three new energy vehicle bases, including Evergrande New Energy vehicle R & D and production base, hub motor R & D and production base and power battery super factory.

Evergrande said that the great health and new energy vehicle industry, as the two healthy business sectors of Evergrande, have made considerable progress in the first half of the year and are about to enter a period of rapid growth.
