Sales by domestic autonomous car companies have basically declined so far this year, but Great Wall has grown in this environment, with sales up 18.34% in February, following a slight increase of 1.52% in January from a year earlier.

Great Wall Motor released sales KuaiBao showed that sales totaled 69037 vehicles in February 2019, up 18.34 per cent from a year earlier, and production of 68765 vehicles, up 16.52 per cent from the same period last year. Of these, WEY achieved sales of 6205 vehicles; SUV achieved sales of 55521 vehicles, an increase of 9.51% over the same period last year. From January to February, the cumulative sales of the Great Wall were 180752, an increase of 7.35% over the same period last year.

The Harvard brand grew by 16.95% in February, but the main models Harvard H6 and Harvard H2 still fell, with sales of 25728 Harvard H6 vehicles in June, down 14.96% from a year earlier, while Harvard H2 only had 2017 vehicles, down 69.22% from a year earlier. In addition, the July sales of Harvard, which went on sale in November last year, continued to exceed 10,000 vehicles, and the Harvard M6 also performed well, with monthly sales up 115.62% to 5024 vehicles from a year earlier.

The WEY brand is still not optimistic. Sales of the four models in February totaled 6205, down 27.25% from a year earlier, with monthly sales of VV7 and VV5 only about 1,000, P8 106 and VV6 4049. Euler brand two models Euler R1, Euler iQ monthly sales of 1837 and 1443.

Great Wall Motor sold 1.053 million vehicles in 2018, down 1.6% from the same period last year. In the face of the overall downturn in the Chinese car market, Great Wall still set a sales target of 1.2 million vehicles in 2019. Great Wall Motor made a good start in the first two months of this year, with sales totaling 180752 vehicles from January to February, an increase of 7.35% year-on-year and 15.06% of the 2019 sales target.
