The front face shape of the new Mercedes-Benz GLC L is basically the same as the overseas version of the standard wheelbase model, compared with the old model, mainly for forward air grille, front encirclement, headlights are adjusted. The new car forward air grille has two styles: single banner and double banner, and the starry net also appears in the new car. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a new style of headlights, using LED daily running lights around the lamp body. There are also changes in taillights.

In terms of body size, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC L has a length, width and height of 4764/1898/1642mm and a wheelbase of 2973mm, which is only slightly different from the current model.

The interior remains basically the same, and the interior design with a sense of luxury is still a major advantage of Mercedes-Benz models.

On the power side, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC L carries the M264 series 2.0T engine, with a high-power version of 258hp and a low-power version of 197hp, with peak torque of 370Nm and 320Nm, respectively. The transmission still matches the 9-speed automatic transmission.

GLC L is a domestic extended wheelbase version, which was officially launched in November last year, so as to better compete with Audi Q5L for market share, while the domestic BMW X3 is still a standard wheelbase version. As a mid-term revamped model, the new Mercedes-Benz GLC L only changes a lot in appearance, but not much in other aspects, which synchronizes the latest family design style of Mercedes-Benz and brings some freshness.

In terms of sales, Mercedes-Benz GLCs still take the lead, selling nearly 80, 000 units in the first seven months, while the BMW X3 and Audi Q5L are both around 67000. However, Audi increased terminal discounts, leading to a rapid rise in sales, surpassing the 12000 Mercedes-Benz GLCs in second place with 13000 units in July. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC, launched at this time, may be able to withstand the impact of Audi.
