According to recent sales data, Changan Auchan sold 339100 vehicles in 2017, down 19 per cent from a year earlier, and 192700 in 2018, down 44 per cent from 2017. Although consumers complained to the manufacturer many times afterwards, they did not get a satisfactory reply in the end.

Pre-sales service has made consumers deeply deceived, and after-sales service has made consumers feel very cold. It is reported that a consumer bought the Auchan A600 model in March last year and communicated with the 4S store many times because of the problem of the direction machine, but the 4S store has been procrastinating and refused to deal with it. In April this year, consumers had no choice but to apply for after-sale processing, but the 4S store told the 4S store that the vehicle had been overinsured and could not be handled. It is obviously the reason for the 4S store, but it is the consumers who finally pay the bill.

Although Auchan Automobile has repeatedly reduced its own value, put the positioning of middle and high-end products behind, and even traded the price for quantity, it has been proved that consumers pay more attention to the quality of the car and the sense of driving experience. It is undeniable that the brand defects caused by Auchan car quality problems have become a stumbling block to improve sales.
