Following the construction and commissioning of four production bases in Baoding, Hebei, Xushui, Tianjin and Tula, Russia, the Chongqing Yongchuan Plant of Great Wall Motor will be officially completed and put into operation at the end of August this year. This plant is the fifth full-process vehicle production base built by Great Wall Motor in the world. The completion and commissioning of Chongqing Yongchuan Plant will further accelerate the "globalization strategy" process of Great Wall Motor. At the same time, the first product of the brand-new brand Great Wall Gun owned by Great Wall Pickup-Great Wall Gun Passenger Pickup will also be offline at the same time.

Yongchuan Production Base of Great Wall officially commenced construction in Fenghuang Lake Industrial Park of Yongchuan High-tech Zone on March 28,2018. It is planned to have an annual production capacity of 250,000 complete vehicles and an annual output value of about 25 billion yuan. According to the plan at that time, the base will be completed by the end of 2019, and in the future, it will mainly produce pickup trucks of Great Wall brand and SUV products of Haval brand.

It appears that the plant is progressing faster than expected. The latest news shows that on the completion day of Yongchuan factory, the Great Wall gun series pickup trucks will be mass-produced at the same time. There are three categories of Great Wall guns, namely commercial pickup trucks, passenger pickup trucks and off-road pickup trucks. The Great Wall Gun is the highest-positioned product in the Great Wall pickup truck at present, adopting brand-new style and brand LOGO. On August 18 just past, the Great Wall Gun series pickup truck passenger version started pre-sale, with the pre-sale price range of 12.68- 159,800 yuan, and is planned to be listed in September. The other two pickup trucks will also be launched for six consecutive years in the future.

According to the production and sales data of Great Wall Motors, in July this year, Great Wall Motors sold 60357 new vehicles, up 11.09% year-on-year, among which Haval, WEY, Euler and Great Wall pickup trucks sold 42888 vehicles, 7246 vehicles, 2071 vehicles and 8075 vehicles respectively, continuously driving the sales growth of Great Wall Motors.

From January to July this year, Great Wall Motors sold 553895 new vehicles, with a year-on-year growth of 5.33%. Excellent performance provided strong support for the steady development of Great Wall Motors in the second half of this year. In addition, in terms of exports, Great Wall Motor exported 7403 new cars in July this year, up 69.48% year-on-year, and exported 37708 new cars from January to July, up 35.69% year-on-year.

It can be seen that Great Wall Motors is not only not affected by the cold conditions in the automobile market, but also constantly accelerating the new layout. It is understood that the Great Wall Motor is also under construction Zhangjiagang, Rizhao, Pinghu and Taizhou bases, the above nine production bases with five major kd factories, Great Wall Motor will form a "95" global production system in the future, Great Wall Motor will further improve its production system layout on a global scale.
