The ideal car (formerly known as Che He Jia) officially announced the completion of Series C financing of US $530 million (about RMB 3.73 billion) on August 16. Wang Xing, founder of this round of financing Meituan Dianping, personally led the investment of nearly 300 million US dollars, Li Xiang, founder of Ideal Car, personally invested nearly 100 million US dollars, and the ideal car was valued at about 2.93 billion US dollars (about 20.63 billion yuan) after financing. At this point, the ideal car cumulative financing amount reached 1.575 billion US dollars. The company plans to officially deliver Ideal ONE in November.

Ideal ONE was released on April 10,2019, with only one model launched and a subsidized price of 328,000 yuan. The car adopts extended range power system, range extender is 1.2T three-cylinder engine, NEDC comprehensive operating range is 800km, and the range is 180km in pure electric mode without range extender.

In May this year, the ideal first batch of 5 retail centers opened, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Tianjin, and plans to expand to 14 by the end of the year.
