A few days ago, FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. It is decided to recall some of the 2016-2018 Audi Q3 cars made in China from December 2, 2015 to March 29, 2019, totaling 130462.

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the incorrect setting of diagnostic software between the BCM (body control module) and the LED drive module, the fault of the LED front steering signal may not be detected. At present, when the steering signal fails, the driver can not receive the fault reminder, which will increase the risk of accident and there are hidden dangers.

FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. will entrust Audi to authorize dealers to upgrade the body control module software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.
