Specifically, Mercedes-Benz involved two recalls. One of them is based on the previous recall to expand the recall of some C-class, E-class, R-class, GLK-class, SLS-class, Weiting, Viano and Ling cars, a total of 199623 vehicles.

The recall is due to the fact that the front airbags of the driver's seat and / or the passenger seat of some vehicles are equipped with ammonium nitrate gas generators without desiccants produced by Takata. During the deployment of the airbag, the gas generator may be damaged, resulting in debris flying out, injuring the people in the car, and there is a safety hidden danger. Mercedes-Benz will replace new airbags for vehicles in the recall area.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz will recall a total of 75415 imported and domestic GLK-class and S-class four-wheel drive vehicles from April 30, 2020.

The recall is also due to the manufacturing of parts suppliers, the universal joint cross shaft of the front drive shaft is not hard enough and the surface is not smooth, which may lead to abnormal wear of the cross shaft and bearing during use. As the gap between the cross shaft and the bearing becomes larger and the vehicle continues to drive for a long distance, the flange of the universal joint of the front drive shaft may eventually break, resulting in the loss of driving power of the vehicle and safety risks. Mercedes-Benz will replace qualified front drive axles for vehicles within the recall range free of charge.

At the same time, FAW-Volkswagen decided to recall some of the 2016-2018 Audi Q3 cars produced from December 2, 2015 to March 29, 2019, totaling 130462.

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the incorrect setting of diagnostic software between the BCM (body control module) and the LED drive module, the fault of the LED front steering signal may not be detected. At present, when the steering signal fails, the driver can not receive the fault reminder, which will increase the risk of accident and there are hidden dangers. FAW-Volkswagen will entrust Audi to authorize dealers to upgrade the body control module software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge.

In addition, BMW will also recall a total of seven BMW X5 xDrive40i, X6 xDrive28i and X6 xDrive35i cars that were manufactured on January 24, 2019.

The reason for the recall is that the hub bolts of the vehicle may not be correctly tightened to the standard torque due to assembly errors, which will cause abnormal noise and vibration of the chassis while the vehicle is running; if the hub bolts fall off completely, the wheels may be out of control of the vehicle, resulting in safety risks. BMW will check the tightening torque of the hub bolts for vehicles within the recall area free of charge, replace the bolts and re-tighten them if necessary.

In addition, BMW will recall a total of three BMW X4 xDrive25i and X4 xDrive30i cars produced from May 30, 2018 to June 2, 2018 from August 30, 2019.

The left front seat frame of the vehicle within the scope of this recall may not be welded according to the specification due to the supplier's production error, and if the seat back load increases in a short period of time, it may fold backward, which will increase the risk of occupant injury in the vehicle crash. there are safety risks. BMW will replace the qualified left front seat frame for vehicles within the recall area free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
