The price of Tesla has fallen sharply in recent months, with one car owner saying that he bought a long-lasting version of Tesla Model 3 at a landing price of 470000 yuan, including purchase tax of 38500 yuan. Now, if the purchase tax is exempted, the price of the car is only 420000 yuan in the past three months. In this regard, many car owners who have bought Tesla models express their dissatisfaction and hope that the relevant departments can make tax rebates.

On September 3, a joint letter from the owners of Tesla said that as the owners of these Tesla models that had been purchased and paid purchase tax on or before August 30, 2019, after consulting the grass-roots tax authorities, he said that he was not sure whether he could apply for a tax refund, so he hereby asked the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration of Taxation for instructions on this matter.

Articles 1 and 2 of the announcement on exemption from purchase tax on New Energy vehicles (announcement of the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) stipulate: "from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, new energy vehicles purchased are exempted from vehicle purchase tax." According to the regulations, a tax refund should be applied for.

Tesla adjusted the price again and again, so that Tesla's car owners were caught off guard. According to statistics, in the past 14 months, Tesla China has made seven official price adjustments, including four system-wide price cuts, two system-wide price increases, and one rise and fall. The price, which fluctuates so frequently and sharply, has also aroused the dissatisfaction of some Chinese consumers.
