NIO again filed a lawsuit against the rumor monger. Today, the official Weibo post said that the "stock selection treasure" APP platform published a headline entitled "the latest research in the Ningde era, revealing the big news of the industrial chain!" | the article "founder Securities Research Summary", which has been reprinted by a number of media, is seriously inaccurate and has a negative impact on the reputation of Ulai, which has filed a lawsuit against the relevant parties for the infringement.

NIO also said that for the use of the network platform to publish false information to slander our company, NIO will resolutely take legal measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises.

In fact, this is the second case in which NIO has publicly sued rumor mongers. In March this year, a user who claimed to be a former employee of Lulai and whose account was called "Yi Child" posted comments on Zhihu, an online question-and-answer community, about NIO's massive layoffs, sales fraud, employee misconduct and so on. it has had a bad impact on the reputation, goodwill and the reputation of related employees. The relevant employees of NIO and the alleged employees successively filed a lawsuit with the Shanghai Jiading District people's Court on the grounds of "infringing the right of reputation". The court found out that the owner of the "child" account corresponding to the mobile phone number was "Weifang Times Internet Trading Co., Ltd." and was not a former employee. The relevant content about Fulai published in this account is subjective conjecture and fabrication and has no factual basis.

On July 25, the company concerned issued a letter of apology.

Going back to this incident, an article published by Xuanbao APP on Aug. 15 mentioned that a "boss Chen" who had worked in the production department of the Ningde era for three years said that "more than 4400 vehicles were on fire" this year, close to 1/3 of the total delivered by Xilai. In addition, Mr. Chen also claimed that after the Ningde era delivered the goods last year, NIO deducted about 700 million yuan in quality and safety deposit when making payments.

The Ningde era has responded: no one has ever been sent to accept this kind of research.

According to incomplete statistics, four accidents of spontaneous combustion and smoking have been exposed so far. Since a number of spontaneous combustion cases occurred, Xilai launched an investigation and issued a recall statement on June 27, recalling 4803 ES8 vehicles. It was found that the accident was caused by a defect in the design of an earlier batch of battery packs and the risk of wiring harness short circuit.

During the rapid development of NIO, the total number of employees is about 9500, during which there have been many layoffs. In September, NIO will continue to lose 1200 jobs worldwide and retain 7500 by the end of September. Compared with the peak, the rate of layoffs in NIO is more than 20%.

At the same time, the capital market has become extremely cautious about Internet car-building investment projects, and it will be more difficult for NIO to find a new round of financing than ever before.
