AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)09/08 Report--

According to relevant media reports, Miss Meng in Shenzhen had previously bought a Jaguar F-PACE. As a result, the car has been repaired frequently for more than two years, and there has been a brake noise problem recently, but 4S store staff said that brake noise is a normal phenomenon, and other brands have a similar situation. It is understood that the model purchased by Miss Meng has been recalled twice in 2017.

In March 2017, Ms. Meng spent more than 600,000 yuan on a Jaguar F-PACE SUV at the SAIC South Jaguar 4S store. Because the F-Pace was a new Jaguar model at that time, she liked it very much. There was no problem when I first picked up the car, but it was recalled all over the line after driving for less than 3 months.

Miss Meng told her that she has been repairing the car frequently since she bought the car for more than two years. "I have only driven more than 20,000 kilometers in two and a half years, and I have been repairing the car all the time. I have to come here every three to five months, and if it is fast, it will take a week to repair it. If it is slow, it will take more than ten days to fix it."

In May 2018, the vehicle had problems such as a blurred screen and a crash on the display screen, and it was sent to the 4S store for maintenance many times. "in the end, it couldn't be repaired, so we had to negotiate to replace the central control mainframe."

Until recently, Miss Meng found that the traffic would make a strange noise when she braking. When the car starts, you will hear a clear metal friction sound when you hit the brakes, and the steering wheel will vibrate slightly. After finding the abnormal noise, the car was sent to the 4S store to be repaired for about 10 days, but after picking up the car, it was found that the problem was still unsolved.

On August 17, she sent the car to the 4S store for repair. on the 28th, Miss Meng said she received a call from the staff of the 4S store to explain to her that the abnormal brake noise was normal and that vehicles from other brands also made this metal friction sound.

Miss Meng does not accept such a reply, because the brake problem is related to life safety, Miss Meng proposed to replace the new car, but the two sides have not yet reached an agreement.

In addition, it was learned that Miss Meng, the Jaguar F-PACE, had two previous recalls, one in March 2017, when the wrong specification of the left rear axle was installed by the supplier, resulting in the risk of abnormal chassis noise and oil leakage. In some cases, the axle may fall off, causing the vehicle to lose power and cause safety risks. On another occasion, in December 2017, a gap restart of the dashboard could be triggered due to manufacturing problems with LCD dashboard suppliers. During the restart, the LCD dashboard may not be able to display the necessary vehicle information, which is a safety hazard.

Obviously, the two vehicle recalls are similar to those of Miss Meng, but so far, Ren has not received a response from Jaguar on the matter.

It is true that Miss Meng is not lucky, but the store and the manufacturer are responsible for the abnormal noise of the vehicles, rather than just finding an excuse to perfunctory consumers. Who should be held responsible if something really happens?

In 2018, more than a year after buying a car in Changchun, a Jaguar owner found a brake noise and sent it to a 4S store to replace the brake pads, but the car was out of control due to human error. Hope to attract the attention of manufacturers and 4S stores.
