In the first seven months of this year, RAV4 Rongfang sold 80, 000 units, while Qijun and CR-V sold 120000 and 114000 units respectively. The interior is Toyota's more functional layout, and uses an 8-inch suspended central control screen, but the design and modeling has caused great controversy, and many netizens believe that it is a hard defect in the design of a new generation of models.

In terms of power, the new domestic RAV4 low-configuration model is equipped with the M20D 2.0L naturally aspirated engine produced by FAW Toyota, with a maximum horsepower of 171 horsepower, which is 20 horsepower higher than the current power. The hybrid model matches the hybrid system composed of 2.5L + motor, the maximum horsepower of the engine is 178 and the maximum horsepower of the motor is 120. In addition, both power models will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.

GAC Toyota will also introduce RAV4 for sales in 2020, and found from the Trademark Office that GAC Toyota has applied for registration of the "Weilanda" and "Wildlander" trademarks, which may become the final name of GAC Toyota version of RAV4.
