At the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, Honda officially unveiled the production version of Honda e, its first all-electric car. The Honda e mass production version uses a cute design style and hidden door handles, which further highlights the difference from traditional fuel cars. In addition, it can be seen that the traditional external rearview mirror has been replaced by two prominent electronic cameras, which project an image of the rear side of the vehicle onto two six-inch screens on both sides of the dashboard.

Honda said the camera system would reduce air resistance by about 90% compared with traditional rearview mirrors, while the air resistance of the vehicle would be improved by 3.8%. This is of great significance for a miniature electric vehicle. After all, the battery capacity of the car body is limited, and the battery life of each 1km promotion is very important for the vehicle. Honda also said that the vehicle reduced Rain Water's impact on the lens by optimizing the overall structure of the electronic camera shell, and the lens was also coated with a hydrophobic coating, so Rain Water would be sucked away no matter where it landed.

In terms of power, the Honda e is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 154 horsepower and a peak torque of 315 Nm, with an acceleration of less than 8 seconds per 100 km, and the rear suspension is a multi-link independent suspension. In terms of battery life, the car is equipped with a battery pack provided by Panasonic with a capacity of 35.5kWh, a mileage of up to 220km and a fast charge of 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

Honda said that the new car will be officially launched in Europe by the end of this year, and it is not known whether it will be introduced into China.
