At the auto show, Red Flag officially unveiled its new supercar and named it "S9". The official performance data are very strong. The hybrid system with a turbocharged V8 engine has a maximum power of more than 1400 horsepower, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 1.9s and a top speed of more than 400km/h.

It is worth noting that Red Flag plans to mass-produce the supercar and will deliver it worldwide in 2021. In addition, it is reported that the car will be limited to build 70 units, it is conceivable that the car is expensive.

In terms of appearance, the external lines of the new car are very streamlined, in line with the sports nature and aggressive visual effects of the supercar, and the design of the eagle wing door is also adopted. The new headlamp group uses full LED light source, the interior uses a dense arrangement of light belt design, and the front central red flag brand-new stripe LOGO bright red shining. At the same time, from the front of the car, we can also see an air duct entering from the front and running through the front hatch. this design, together with the huge fixed spoiler at the rear, will bring a stronger aerodynamic effect to the whole vehicle. this effectively improves high-speed stability.

From the side of Red Flag S9, the flat and low body design presses the center of gravity down. What is more unique is that the new car is equipped with a set of star rims locked by a single bolt. In the rear, in addition to the giant rear spoiler, we can also see the design of the central vertical bar echoing the red flag stripe LOGO at the front of the car, as well as the exaggerated shape of the taillight group.

The interior is very simple, but the overall effect is full of performance and is equipped with an irregularly shaped steering wheel.

In terms of power, Hongqi S9 is equipped with a set of oil-electric hybrid system composed of V8 turbocharged engine and motor. the comprehensive power of this system exceeds 1400 horsepower, the maximum speed can reach 400km/h, and the acceleration of 100 kilometers under normal conditions is less than 2.3s, while the breaking time under limit conditions is only 1.9s.

Red Flag S9 will eventually achieve limited production and is regarded as an important work for the transformation of Red Flag brand and changing the inherent impression of the brand. In 2021, Red Flag is about to deliver the S9 supercar worldwide.

At present, the Red Flag brand has 6 models on sale, with 2 models each in the car and SUV field, as well as pure electric models and high-end customized model Red Flag L5, which has changed the situation of the long-term lack of Hongqi brand products. By the end of August, Red Flag had built 146 experience centers.

According to official sales figures, Red Flag sold more than 10, 000 vehicles in August, with a cumulative sales of 52000 vehicles from January to August, up 231% from a year earlier.
