FAW Toyota announced that the Asian Dragon 2.0L will be launched on Sept. 21, with a 2.0L four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that matches the CVT gearbox. The price of the current 2.5L and 2.5L dual-engine version is 20.88-289800 yuan.

From the declaration map, the appearance of 2.0L Asian dragon and cash 2.5L model is basically the same, only headlights, wheel size and other aspects will be adjusted. The size of the new car has not changed, the length, width and height are 4975/1850/1450mm, and the wheelbase is 2870mm.

In the engine part, the new car is equipped with a 2.0L four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine code-named M20D, with a maximum power of 178hp and a peak torque of 210Nm, the same model as the current Camry, and the gearbox matches the CVT gearbox.

FAW Toyota's new flagship Asian Dragon went on sale on March 22 this year, launching 2.5L and 2.5L dual-engine models with a price range of 20.88-289800 yuan. As a result, the price of 2.0L Asian Dragon is likely to fall to 170000 yuan, bringing greater sales pressure to the same door Camry.

FAW Toyota sales Deputy General Manager Masashi Mizani once said: Asian Dragon's sales target for 2019 is 50,000 vehicles. Sales figures for Asian dragons in the first seven months of this year were 27244.

At present, the Asian Dragon on sale offers 2.5L naturally aspirated power and 2.5L dual engine power, with a maximum power of 209hp and 218hp respectively. The 2.5L model matches the 8-block self-integrated gearbox with economic, ordinary and sports driving modes, while the hybrid model matches the hybrid system E-CVT gearbox.
