However, according to official sources, Tesla has officially booked the lap time test at the New North track on September 18, 21 and 25, respectively. Musk also officially announced Tesla's brand-new Plaid powertrain. The only thing that can surpass the fury mode is the Plaid model, says Mr Musk.

Musk said: the new Plaid powertrain will only be used on Model S, X and Roadster 2, not on Model 3 and Model Y.

At present, the title of the fastest four-door electric car in the New North Speedway still belongs to Porsche Taycan. Porsche Taycan's lap time record was completed by test driver Lars Kern. Porsche stressed that the record-breaking Taycan is a top-matching model with a dual-motor drive, with one motor on each of the car's front and rear axles. In addition, the Taycan is equipped with a system called Porsche 4D chassis Control, which is mainly used to analyze and control the chassis part of the car in real time, including adaptive air suspension and anti-roll stabilization system.

However, the main parameters of Taycan and Model S have their own advantages, but the price is much higher than that of Model S, and no wonder Musk is aggrieved about it.

However, Model S has never been on the Nurburgring before, so what it can achieve in the end, including whether it can break the Taycan record, is also a matter of concern.
