At the recent Chengdu auto show, SAIC GM Cadillac brought a new model, the CT5, which locates as a luxury medium-sized sedan and will compete with Audi A4L, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class models. Cadillac announced today that the new domestic CT5 will go on sale at the end of October.

In terms of appearance, the Cadillac CT5 still uses a family design language, the front grille echoes the shield LOGO, and uses an all-black painting style to highlight sports. LED daylight uses a segmented vertical structure, which is still Cadillac's classic tearful-eye shape.

The overall shape of the domestic CT5 is partial to movement, and the LED taillight group also has a higher degree of recognition, which echoes with the headlight group. In terms of body size, the new car will have a length, width and height of 4924 1883 mm and a wheelbase of 2947mm, and will be available in both stylish and sports kits with 18-inch and 19-inch rims.

In terms of power, the domestic Cadillac CT5 is equipped with a 2.0T in-line four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 241hp, which meets the sixth national emission standard and is expected to match the 10AT gearbox.

In addition, Cadillac will launch a new CT4 to replace the ATS model currently on the market. Cadillac will not only unify the naming of family models, but will also focus on updating the product line.

Sales figures show that Cadillac sold 14706 vehicles in July, with a cumulative sales of 129298 vehicles from January to July, an increase of 2.1% over the same period last year, still ranking first among second-tier luxury brands.
