AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)03/10 Report--

Tesla released the Model Y preview map, and the overall outline is basically clear. Officially, the car's body size is 10% larger than that of the Model 3, and the price will be 10% more expensive, and the Model Y will not have an eagle wing door design similar to the Model X.

As a result, Model Y will not be a small version of Model X, but more like a SUV version based on the Model 3 platform and design. Because the battery pack is still the same as the Model 3, the car's mileage will be slightly lower than that of the Model 3.

Tesla CEO Musk revealed that the Model Y conference will be held in Los Angeles on March 14, 2019.

As a reference, there are three versions of Model 3 currently on sale in China, with a price of 40.70-516000 yuan and a mileage close to 600km.

The Model Y may have the same 21700 battery pack as the Model 3, or support the latest V3.0 super charging system. The system has a maximum charging power of 250kW and, according to previous accounts, can travel 120km in five minutes.

In addition, the Model Y will be Tesla's second domestic model. In the plan, Model Y expects to achieve a capacity of 7000 vehicles per week at the Gigafactory 1 plant.

More information about Model Y will be announced on March 14.
