Three days later, Mr. Li's car purchase invoice was mailed to Harbin. I thought I could get the license plate smoothly, but I was told that the car formalities had been settled by vehicles in other places the day before.

On July 30, Mr. Li settled the new car in Harbin vehicle Management Institute according to the process. After entering the vehicle identification code, import customs order and other information, it was verified and compared by the system as "repeated verification". It was further confirmed that the vehicle registration information provided by Mr. Li was exactly the same as that of a car settled in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province on the 29th. After returning to Harbin, the DMV in Harbin contacted Yunfu in Guangdong by telephone.

As the matter has not been resolved, Mr. Li posted the experience of buying a car on the Internet on August 20, which aroused widespread concern among netizens.

On August 22nd, the traffic police detachment of Yunfu City replied and the matter was transferred to the relevant departments for investigation and handling; Mr. Li, the official Weibo of Yunfu Public Security Bureau @ Ping'an Yunfu Private letter, said that the DMV was following up and checking the matter; on the 28th, Yunfu City DMV called back, saying that a working group had been set up to investigate, and Tianjin Customs was discriminating the authenticity after receiving the sample documents sent by Yunfu vehicle management.

According to thepaper.cn, the vehicle Management Institute of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, responded on September 11 that a special working group had been set up to investigate the matter, and the relevant certification materials of the vehicles settled in the institute had been sent to the Tianjin Customs Department for verification in accordance with the process. No results have been available so far.

A staff member of Yunfu City DMV said that before the inspection results were released, the files of the settled vehicles had been sealed up and notified to the owners, but the owners had not yet driven the car back. If it is proved that there is a problem with the registered vehicle information, it will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the regulations.

The staff of the trading company that bought the car said that the vehicle given to Mr. Li met the standard, and there was no problem with the formalities. Mr. Li came to communicate with him and the police to check the information at the customs as soon as possible, and there was no problem with the verification result.
