AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)09/14 Report--
The parallel imported off-road vehicle bought by Mr. Li, a citizen of Harbin, for more than 1 million yuan, has complete procedures, but it cannot be registered at the DMV. Compared with the imported vehicle verification system of the Ministry of Public Security, the inspection result is "double check." it turns out that the vehicle information is the same as the vehicles that have been settled in other places, so that Mr. Li's vehicles cannot be registered. What on earth is happening here?
Mr. Li said that on July 24, he bought a Canadian version of the Lexus 570 off-road vehicle at the Showmap (Tianjin) International Trade Co., Ltd. in Tianjin Binhai International Automobile City, with a naked car price of 1.358 million yuan. on the same day, in addition to the car purchase invoice, other procedures were successfully obtained, including imported motor vehicle inspection form, customs customs order, vehicle consistency certificate, environmental protection list and other information. "it was said before that Tianjin Port was too deep, but friends bought it there and all went well, so they didn't have too many doubts," says Mr. Li.
Three days later, Mr. Li's car purchase invoice was mailed to Harbin. I thought I could get the license plate smoothly, but I was told that the car formalities had been settled by vehicles in other places the day before.
On July 30, Mr. Li settled the new car in Harbin vehicle Management Institute according to the process. After entering the vehicle identification code, import customs order and other information, it was verified and compared by the system as "repeated verification". It was further confirmed that the vehicle registration information provided by Mr. Li was exactly the same as that of a car settled in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province on the 29th. "how can both the formalities and the car be settled with me?" Mr. Li was puzzled. "the DMV police had to check it over and over again when I got the license plate, and the police in Harbin told me that if there was something wrong with my procedures, they would detain the vehicle and the procedures for investigation on the spot."
Mr. Li said that he went to Tianjin to report to the police on August 8, but the police did not file a case because of jurisdiction issues, and the trading company that bought the car also denied that there was a problem with the vehicle formalities. After returning to Harbin, the DMV in Harbin contacted Yunfu in Guangdong by telephone.
As the matter has not been resolved, Mr. Li posted the experience of buying a car on the Internet on August 20, which aroused widespread concern among netizens.
On August 22nd, the traffic police detachment of Yunfu City replied and the matter was transferred to the relevant departments for investigation and handling; Mr. Li, the official Weibo of Yunfu Public Security Bureau @ Ping'an Yunfu Private letter, said that the DMV was following up and checking the matter; on the 28th, Yunfu City DMV called back, saying that a working group had been set up to investigate, and Tianjin Customs was discriminating the authenticity after receiving the sample documents sent by Yunfu vehicle management.
According to thepaper.cn, the vehicle Management Institute of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, responded on September 11 that a special working group had been set up to investigate the matter, and the relevant certification materials of the vehicles settled in the institute had been sent to the Tianjin Customs Department for verification in accordance with the process. No results have been available so far.
A staff member of Yunfu City DMV said that before the inspection results were released, the files of the settled vehicles had been sealed up and notified to the owners, but the owners had not yet driven the car back. If it is proved that there is a problem with the registered vehicle information, it will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the regulations.
The staff of the trading company that bought the car said that the vehicle given to Mr. Li met the standard, and there was no problem with the formalities. Mr. Li came to communicate with him and the police to check the information at the customs as soon as possible, and there was no problem with the verification result.
At present, the specific situation is still under investigation. How Mr. Li's vehicle information was leaked, how to apply vehicle information and how to register and settle down is pending the results of the police investigation.
