Independent SUV models have been pursued by joint ventures in recent months, accounting for seven of the top 15 sales in August, much better than in July. There are a lot of models with a big increase in sales in the top 15 list, especially a dark horse like the independent brand SUV Chery Jetway X70, which has been on the market for only a year, but its performance is very eye-catching.

There are successes and failures. Baojun 510, once a popular model, has now been snubbed by the market. According to data, Baojun's sales in August were 13741, down 45.7% from the same period last year.
