The taycan, Porsche's first inch electric sports car, has been unveiled in Fuzhou.

Officials have announced the prices of the two equipped models in the Chinese market. The recommended retail price of Taycan Turbo including VAT is 1.498 million yuan, and that of Tayan Turbo S is 1.798 million yuan.

Porsche taycan is positioned as a four-door coupe, designed to inherit the Porsche Misson E concept car.

The front face is different from previous Porsche models, and it is also special. The rear of the Taycan uses a glass texture "Porsche" logo embedded with through-and-through lights. The new Taycan has a wind resistance coefficient of 0.22, excellent aerodynamic performance, a significant reduction in energy consumption and a further increase in mileage.

The stand-alone dashboard is unobscured, but it can still be used in bright lights and at night, and can be switched to ultra-compact mode. The air outlet of the air conditioner does not have any adjustment mechanism, which is adjusted by touch control. Porsche Taycan does not use leather interiors at all. Instead, seat interiors are made of innovative recycled materials.

In terms of power, the front and rear axles of Porsche Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo are respectively equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Combined with the start control function, the flagship model Taycan Turbo S can output supercharged power up to 560kW (761Ps), and the Taycan Turbo can reach the maximum power of 500kW (680Ps). It takes only 2.8 seconds for Taycan Turbo S to accelerate from 0-100km/h and 3.2 seconds for Taycan Turbo. Both new cars are four-wheel drive with a top speed of 260km/h. In terms of battery, the vehicle uses 93kWh's square lithium battery pack, and the mileage under NEDC condition exceeds that of 465km.

The Taycan is the first mass-produced model with a system voltage of 800V and supports charging power up to 270kW when using a high-power charging network for DC charging. Taycan can achieve more than 5 minutes to supplement the power required for 100km mileage. Under ideal charging conditions, it takes only 22.5 minutes for Taycan to charge from 5% to 80%.
