At the conference, Zu Qijie, vice president and chief engineer of SAIC, said that SAIC called for the establishment of an extensive and high-level intelligent network-connected automobile exchange and cooperation platform to communicate and share basic technological achievements and product experiences. discuss relevant policies, regulations, standards and norms, and jointly build an open and innovative public platform and ecosystem for intelligent Internet-connected vehicles. In view of the problem of network security, SAIC is also working with international and domestic partners to discuss the network security strategy of intelligent Internet-connected vehicles and jointly prop up the protective umbrella in the field of automobile network security.

At the conference, SAIC was awarded the first batch of license for the demonstration application of intelligent network vehicles in China, and will take the lead in carrying out the commercial operation of intelligent network vehicles in the urban roads of Shanghai.

At the same time, SAIC demonstrated the third generation of intelligent driving vehicles independently developed at the conference, with the goal of realizing the L4 highly self-driving function under urban conditions. Based on the self-developed deep learning algorithm, the intelligent driving vehicle integrates the machine vision perception function, and with the assistance of millimeter wave radar and lidar, the crowdsourced high-precision intelligent driving map and perception fusion positioning are independently developed. to achieve 360-degree perception, planning and decision-making under urban conditions. It also carries i-ECU, an intelligent driving decision domain controller independently developed by SAIC, and integrates core algorithms such as AI to enhance awareness, path planning, decision control and trajectory tracking to create a real-time computing platform for L4 intelligent driving vehicle industrialization with high performance and low cost.
