The development momentum of hydrogen fuel cell is still hot, and Tianjin has also put its development on the agenda. A few days ago, Tianjin Development and Reform Commission took the lead in compiling the Action Plan for the Development of Tianjin hydrogen Energy Industry (2019-2022), which put forward the top-level design for the development of Tianjin hydrogen energy industry for the first time. According to the Action Plan, by 2022, Tianjin plans to initially form the development pattern of the whole hydrogen energy industry chain, and the total output value of the industry is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan. At present, the plan is under further revision and is scheduled to be introduced in the near future.

According to the Action Plan, Tianjin will focus on promoting the industrialization of hydrogen fuel cells and key components, introducing vehicle manufacturing enterprises to carry out prototype development and mass production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. It is understood that Tianjin will first build three pilot demonstration zones for the promotion and application of hydrogen energy in key areas with an industrial foundation and high enthusiasm for promotion, with emphasis on the promotion and application of hydrogen fuel cell logistics vehicles and forklifts in the field of transportation, and supporting the construction of commercial hydrogenation stations to ensure the safe and stable supply of gas sources. At the same time, pilot selection of bus lines to promote hydrogen fuel buses. Various districts will also promote the construction of hydrogen filling stations, encourage the joint construction of hydrogen filling stations, refueling (gas) stations and charging stations, and enhance the intensive use of resources.

In addition, Tianjin will give full play to the exemplary and leading role of party and government organs and state-owned enterprises and institutions, give priority to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles when purchasing official vehicles, take the lead in using and gradually expanding the proportion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles; take the opportunity of holding major conferences at home and abroad, give priority to hydrogen fuel cell reception vehicles, and plan temporary hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration bus lines. At the same time, promote the demonstration operation of small-scale hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicles, pilot the introduction of passenger vehicles to carry out demonstration operation; build fleet operation management platform and data collection platform, and gradually promote large-scale application. By 2022, Tianjin will cultivate a number of enterprises such as hydrogen preparation, storage and transportation, research and development of core technology and equipment, research and production of hydrogen fuel cells, demonstration applications and supporting services, and form a number of internationally competitive leading enterprises in the fields of key components, power system integration, inspection and testing, and initially form the development pattern of the whole hydrogen energy industry chain.

Hydrogen energy industry chain includes hydrogen production, storage and transportation, hydrogenation, hydrogen energy application and so on. Among them, hydrogen production is the foundation, storage, transportation and hydrogenation are the core guarantee of hydrogen energy application.

At present, four regional industrial clusters have been formed in China: Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, East China, South China and Central China. The four major hydrogen energy industrial clusters cover the fields of hydrogen production, storage, transportation and application of hydrogen energy. Among them, hydrogen fuel cell and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle are important development directions, and form their own industrial matching, commercial application model and so on. The small town of Meijin hydrogen Energy is located in the hydrogen energy industry cluster in East China, and the local industrial chain will be further improved after completion.
