"Jetta" official announced that the brand's first batch of new cars will be officially unveiled in China on March 22, the first batch of new cars including two SUV (VS5, VS7) and a car (VA3), a total of three models, will be launched in the Chinese market.

Jetta is a brand-new sub-brand launched by Volkswagen. It was officially announced in Wolfsburg, Germany on February 26. It is positioned as the lowest level within Volkswagen Group, focusing on low-cost car market. It is only available in China at the initial stage.

According to Volkswagen, the new brand is dominated by Germany, R & D is concentrated in Germany and Volkswagen global resources are gathered. FAW-Volkswagen establishes an independent marketing system, which is responsible for production in Chengdu Branch of China and launched into the Chinese market as the third brand of FAW-Volkswagen.

The first to go on the market is Jetta VS5, which is expected to be put into production in the middle of the year and will be launched in September this year.

Jetta established a new brand from a separate model, and did not hang the Volkswagen logo, but adopted a brand-new design logo, similar to the initial letter "J" of "JETTA". VS5 positioning compact SUV, as can be seen from the official map, the front face of the new car adopts hexagonal air intake grille design, grille shape is dot chrome decoration, the middle is "Jetta" new logo. The grille is connected to the headlight group to form a horizontal Y shape, and there are several raised lines on the engine cover above.

The side lines of the new car are simple in design, and the Y-shaped light source design is also adopted in the tail lamp group. The silver anti-scratch plate shape at the bottom echoes the front.

The Jetta VA3 is a compact sedan that can basically be considered a replacement for the original Jetta car market, which will also be available within the year. The VA3 also features the latest design family look of the Jetta brand.

The official powertrain has not been announced yet, because it is set as a low cost performance, Jetta brand is expected to focus on 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, matching 6AT gearbox.

Volkswagen has said that Jetta brand target audience is for men aged between 25 and 35 years old, with German craftsmanship and to meet user expectations.
