As a popular model under the BMW brand, the BMW 3-Series occupies a place in the luxury brand B-class car market with its excellent power and excellent control. This also means that the 3-series standard shaft may be officially discontinued in 2022.

If there is no standard axis, there may be many consumers will not like it. As the soul of BMW, there is no doubt that the standard axis has excellent maneuverability. And in the past, only the short-axis version of BMW abroad was stretched and enlarged after entering China.

In terms of manipulation, the standard axis has many advantages over the long axis. For example, the 325 axis 100 km acceleration is 7.3 seconds, while the long axis version reaches 8.1 seconds, which is not a small gap for two cars with the same powertrain. Although the axle version will be higher at 6.3 liters / 100km and 6.0 liters / 100km respectively, engineers seem to have given slightly more radical tuning to the axle models in terms of higher fuel consumption and faster acceleration. Of course, in some extreme operations, the standard axis BMW will be lighter and easier to drive.

But I have to say that in China, long-axis sales and heat are better than the more pure short-axis BMW. Throughout the luxury car market, wheelbase lengthening has become a common trend. After entering China, many models have been lengthened, and sales are also growing day by day, especially medium and large sedans. At present, the domestic luxury medium and large cars sold by BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi are also long-wheelbase versions.

In addition, the declaration chart of the new BMW 3-Series was obtained from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a chronological model, the new model was mainly adjusted for power, and three new models were launched, namely, the 320Li, 325Li and 330i power models.

Perhaps, the domestic long-axis version of BMW is more popular than the short-axis version, because the long-axis version is more pragmatic and more in line with national conditions.
