Car owners can use virtual keys on their smartphones to control the vehicle.

It is reported that the CoSmA solution can send multiple virtual keys to Honda e-car owners at the same time, and car owners only need to open the door remotely through the My Honda+ application on their smartphone and turn on the low-power Bluetooth (BLE) function. This virtual key can also be shared with friends and relatives.

The Honda e, which introduces the CoSmA solution, is Honda's first new energy model based on a pure electric platform and will be available in Europe from 2020. Shigeo Hamada, head of the pan-European interconnection business project and general manager of Honda Europe Co., Ltd., said: "as a new pure electric model, Honda e needs to achieve a high level of Smart Interconnection. The digital key function provided by Continental Group provides our customers with special convenience and new features."

The Honda e is an all-electric model owned by Honda. The front intake grille has been changed to a black panel, and Honda's LOGO and round headlights are embedded on the black panel, highlighting the sense of technology. Unlike other electric cars, the Honda e's charging port is designed on the hood, and the black panel on the hood is the vehicle's charging port.

The hidden door handle and rear-view electronic camera look more avant-garde, with a black panel at the rear echoing the front, and the logo and round taillights are consistent with the front.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a drive motor and provides both high-power and low-power models, of which the maximum power of the high-power version is 113 kilowatts and the low-power version is 100 kilowatts. At the same time, it is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 35.5 kilowatt-hours and a comprehensive range of 220 kilometers.
