Sales of the BMW 3-Series reached 17379 units in January, a beautiful figure, but sales have plummeted since the launch of the new BMW 3-Series model. Relevant data show that Mercedes-Benz C-Class sold 13203 units in August, and the cumulative sales from January to August were 104709, slightly better than Audi and won the "double material championship".

The BMW 5-Series topped the list of high-end car sales in August, with the top three in August being the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. BMW's 5-series sold 15283 units in August, up 24% from a year earlier, followed by 13839 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and 12901 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
