Recently, BYD provided the media with spy photos of its brand new medium-sized car. It is understood that the new car will have two versions of the 2019-09-19 drive and four-wheel drive, which are dual-engine and three-engine power modes respectively. In addition, the four-wheel drive version of the 100-kilometer acceleration can reach 2.9 seconds, excellent dynamic performance. According to media reports, the new car will be named "Han", and the emergence of the new car will further improve the members of the BYD family.

It is learned from the China Trademark Network that the BYD Han trademark is currently being applied for, and according to the LOGO design of BYD Qin, Tang, Song and Yuan models, BYD Han will also adopt a LOGO design similar to seal characters.

According to the spy photos exposed by the media, the test car is still in the mid-test stage, and the frame and some parts are already in mass production, but it does not mean that this is the final shape. The appearance adopts the design of BYD's latest family "Dragon Face", with a large intake net and a blackened horizontal air intake grille. It is worth mentioning that the door handle is concealed.

In the rear, although the new car is equipped with a temporary light group, but judging from the grooves reserved on the back cover, the new car is expected to use a penetrating taillight group similar to the new Tang and other models.

In 2015, BYD released some data on the "Han" model, the length, width and height of the new car is 4950/1890/1490mm, and the wheelbase is 2940mm. In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with ACC adaptive cruise, HUD, lane departure warning, parallel assistance, electric spoiler and other technology intelligent configuration.

In terms of power, there are two versions of the car: front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The front-drive model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of 2.0T engine and 150PS front axle motor, while the four-wheel drive version will add the maximum power 476PS rear axle motor. In terms of transmission, the DCT double clutch automatic transmission will be matched. With this powertrain boost, the 0-100km/h acceleration time of the BYD Han all-wheel drive version is only 2.9 seconds, and the new car may be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April next year.

In addition, Zhao Changjiang, general manager of BYD Automotive, has said that BYD Han will still launch three models: fuel, DM plug-in and pure electric, among which the fuel version will directly compete with BMW 3 Series and other medium-sized cars, and the pure electric version will directly compete for performance coupe such as Model S, which is comparable to the Model 3 in price.

According to data released by BYD, BYD sold 16100 new energy vehicles in August, with a cumulative sales of 172871 from January to August, an increase of 56.7 per cent over the same period last year.

At present, the BYD dynasty series already has Qin, Tang, Song and Yuan models, covering fuel vehicles, plug-in and pure electric models. BYD Han is about to launch to further improve the dynasty camp and refine the product market.
