Recently, GAC MOTOR released the design sketch of the new generation Chuanqi GS4. The new car is scheduled to be officially launched in November this year. The line design of the new car is quite dynamic and sharp.

The new generation Chuanqi GS4 uses Ling Yunyi 3.0design language, as can be seen through the rendering picture, the shape of the headlight group connected with the large size medium net is long and sharp, and the headlight group of the new car uses dual-module LED wick, officially called "double-star cruise full LED headlights", supplemented by broken drill array steering lights, while maintaining a family style while more refined. At the same time, the taillight group adopts LED ribbon style, which is very layered, supplemented by chrome-plated decorative strips to further widen the horizontal visual effect of the whole car.

From the side, the new car retains the classic suspended roof shape of the old model, but the side double-segment waistline is more stylish than the old model. According to the previous information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the body size of the new generation Chuanqi GS4 is 4545/1856/1700mm, wheelbase and Harvard H6 are both 2680mm, compared with the current model, its body is larger as a whole, which further ensures the ride space in the car.

In terms of power, the previously declared 270T model is equipped with a high-power version of 1.5T turbocharged engine, maximum power of 169 horsepower, peak torque of 265 Nm, transmission is expected to match six-speed manual or six-speed manual integrated gearbox, and offers front-drive and four-wheel drive models.

According to the data, Chuanqi GS4 sold a total of 8852 vehicles in August, down 56% from a year earlier, while Harvard H6 sold 25000 vehicles in August, and Geely Boyue also had 18000 vehicles. Compared with Chuanqi GS4's performance of more than 8000 vehicles, its competitors have left it far behind.

The reason for the decline in sales of Chuanqi GS4 is that the replacement time is too long, competitors have replaced one after another, but Chuanqi GS4 has not moved until recently.

However, the sales volume of 1118725 vehicles won in four years in the car market also reflects the strength of Chuanqi GS4. Due to the slow upgrading, it leads to missed market opportunities. Compared with the new generation Chuanqi GS4, which is about to be upgraded and listed, whether it can achieve good results again can only be verified by time.
