Recently, the declaration information of the new domestic Ford Escape model was obtained in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. In addition to the ST-Line sports kit version, which has been unveiled at the auto show, and the Titanium high-end version with a Chinese special front face (the front grille has a larger opening and is connected to the headlight group), the declaration information also disclosed the information and styling of the Escape Vignale luxury version.

The front face of the new car also continues the overseas version of the design, but the front grille is replaced with the exclusive V-shaped lattice shape of the Vignale series models, and the front surrounding air inlet is also designed with large U-shaped black strips, which is different from the Titanium and ST-Line models.

Compared to the Titanium and ST-Line models are different. In addition, the new car is also equipped with its own gray dense spoke rims and the same body movement as the ST-Line model. All the models declared at the same time are double-sided exhaust.

Depending on the model configuration, the new car will also provide front parking radar, front camera, front fog lights, 17-19 inch wheels, roof luggage rack, chrome door handle, privacy glass, side window chrome strip, keyless entry and skylight. Declaration information shows that the length, width and height of the new car are 4585/1882/1688mm, wheelbase is 2710mm, compared with overseas models, except for a reduction in height, the rest are consistent.

According to the current declaration, Changan Ford Escape provides two types of power with 1.5T EcoBoost three-cylinder turbocharged engine and 2.0T EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine, the former maximum power is 130kW (174PS), the latter maximum power is 182kW (248PS), is expected to match the 8AT gearbox, some models will be equipped with four-wheel drive system, is expected to go on sale in November.
