On Volkswagen Night in April, FAW-Volkswagen SUV Coupe concept car was released, which is also the predecessor of Tanyue Coupe. From the front face, Tan Yue Coupe and the ordinary version of Tan Yue is no different, the design also continues the family style, the most obvious difference lies in the rear side of the shape.
The Coupe model is characterized by a side shape with a slippery back. The roof line of the Tanyue Coupe starts from behind the B-pillar and continues to the taillight group to create a sporty styling style.
The new car has a body size of 4586/1860/1635mm and a wheelbase of 2731mm. At the same time, according to the rear logo, the car may be named TYLCON in the future.
The power will be consistent with that of Tanyue, with a 1.4T engine and a low / high power version of 2.0T. The maximum horsepower of the three engines is 150hp, 186hp and 220hp, respectively, and the peak torque is 250Nm, 320Nm and 350Nm respectively, matching a seven-speed double clutch gearbox and a high-end model with a 4MOTION four-wheel drive system.
According to official sources, Tanyue Coupe will be put into production at the FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin plant, with an annual production capacity of 65000 vehicles.
