On September 19, the case was heard in the Shanghai High Court. Geely applied to the court for a private hearing, that is, the trial process of the case was not allowed to attend, while Weimar said there was no infringement and supported the public trial.

Geely sued four companies owned by Weimar, alleging that Weimar copied its model, filed financial compensation and recovered patents that had been applied for by Weimar, according to CCTV Finance.

At present, more information about this case has not been obtained, and the car market is facing a cold winter of capital, Weima will be more or less affected by the case, once the claim amount of 2.1 billion yuan is confirmed, it will deal a blow to Weima's operation and even survival. Weima Automobile believes that the target amount of 2.1 billion yuan does not have the corresponding basis.
