In terms of appearance, the new mid-term modified Mercedes-Benz C 200L continues the design language of the Mercedes-Benz C-class family. LED light sources are arranged in a regular line shape inside the headlight group, and the daytime running lamp belt shape is matched. The shape of the side and rear of the car body is almost the same as that of the current model, and the taillights also adopt C-type LED light strips.

The new C 200L is available in two configurations, including a sporty sports version priced at 307,800 yuan and a stylish sports version priced at 315,800 yuan. Among them, the high-equipped models have been upgraded in configuration compared with the entry-level models, including the addition of reversing images, intelligent parking, optional keyless entry, blind spot monitoring, front and rear seat heating, seat massage, Berlin sound, atmosphere lights, 18-inch AMG rims, remote geometric multi-beam LED headlights.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an M264 series 1.5T in-line four-cylinder engine (meeting the national six-emission standard). The maximum power and peak torque of the engine remain unchanged at 156 horsepower and 250 N·m, but the maximum power speed increases from 5300rpm to 5700rpm, and the peak torque speed also changes from 1200-4000rpm to 1500-4000rpm. In terms of transmission system, the new car is still matched with 9-speed automatic manual transmission and meets the national VI emission standard.

The configuration of the new car is basically the same as that of the current C180L model, replacing the C180L with the 2019 model as the new entry model of the new C-class.
