A few days ago, SAIC Roewe officially announced that its 2020 Roewe i5 compact sedan will be launched on September 26. At the same time, the Roewe i5 will add a 1.5L ADAS model to bring better safety protection for drivers and passengers.

ADAS is an intelligent active safety assistant system with six functions such as ACC adaptive cruise, AEB automatic emergency brake and SAS intelligent speed assistance, which can improve the active safety factor in the process of driving.

In terms of configuration, Roewe i5 provides 12.3-inch LCD digital interactive instrument, 16-inch two-color wheels and other configurations according to different models.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with 1.5T and 1.5L engines from SAIC Blue Core, of which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 169 horsepower (124 kW) and a peak torque of 250 Nm. In terms of transmission, the CVT gearbox matches the 1.5L engine and the 7-speed double clutch gearbox matches the 1.5T engine.
