Changan Mazda officially announced that the new Mazda 3 Axela Onx Ala is on the market at a price of 115900 to 168900 yuan, a slight increase compared with the price of 11.29 to 162900 yuan for the older model. In terms of power, the new car continues to carry 1.5L and 2.0L naturally aspirated engines, with only a hatchback version available initially.

The new Onksera maintains the overall shape of the old model and does not seem to have changed much, with adjustments in details. The new car maintains the sporty design of Mazda, and Chinanews.com changes to Mazda's new style shield shape, still using sharp headlights.

In the rear, the position of the vehicle number plate is moved down to the position of the bumper, and the taillight group still uses a slender strip shape. At the same time, the vehicle adopts a bilateral exhaust layout. The length, width and height of the new car are 4662/1797/1445mm, and the wheelbase is 2726mm, in which the length, width and wheelbase are increased by 80mm, 2mm and 26mm compared with the old model.

The interior changes obviously, which is consistent with the overseas version design. In terms of configuration, the whole system is equipped with one-button start, 7-inch dashboard display, four-way adjustable multi-function steering wheel, 8.8-inch central control screen, 8 speakers, Apple CarPlay+ Baidu CarLife mobile phone interconnection, electronic handbrake with AUTOHOLD, rear air conditioning outlet, four-door window one-button lift, front / rear central handrail, rear 4x6 ratio upside down, etc.

In terms of power, the new car continues to carry 1.5L or 2.0L naturally aspirated engines with maximum power of 117 horsepower and 158 horsepower respectively, matching a six-speed manual self-integrated gearbox and a front McPherson independent suspension + torque beam non-independent rear suspension for the chassis.

Sales figures show that Changan Mazda sold 10013 units in August 2019, with a cumulative sales of 87191 in the first eight months, down 22.58 per cent from 112621 in the same period last year. In terms of specific models, Onksera sold a total of 60676 units in the first eight months, CX-5 sold 24557 units, and CX-3 and CX-8 sold a total of 1958 units.

Changan Mazda suffered a drop in sales due to the absence of a new car. Wang Jinhai, deputy general manager of Changan Mazda sales, said that with the appearance of new products, it is believed that the overall sales of Changan Mazda will be reversed before the end of the year.
