According to BMW's global sales figures for February 2019, the BMW Group (including MINI and Rolls-Royce brands) delivered 171500 vehicles worldwide in February, down 4.1 per cent from January to February to 341900 vehicles, down 1.9 per cent from a year earlier. As for the decline in sales, BMW explained that the upgrading of the BMW 3-Series had affected the overall sales of the group to a certain extent.

Among them, BMW sold 44600 vehicles in China in February, up 0.6% from the same period last year. The cumulative sales from January to February this year were 107700, up 8.8% from the same period last year, accounting for 31.5% of the overall sales of BMW Group. In addition to the Chinese market, BMW grew to varying degrees in Germany, Britain and Japan in February, but fell 1.3% in the US market and fell across the board in Europe, Asia and the Americas as a whole.
