In August this year, Mr. Li bought a Mercedes-Benz E car at the Penglong Sinfeng 4S store in Yancheng, totaling more than 400,000. As a result, when he went to a car repair shop to wash the car, a painter told him that the hood paint had been redone here. After hearing this good sentence, Mr. Li was a little confused.

Mr. Li said that the new car he bought for more than 400,000 yuan has become what other people call an old car. So Mr. Li looked carefully at the lower hood and found a number of anomalies. First of all, the paint on the left front of the hood was obviously less glossy than other parts, and it still felt rough.

After opening the hood, Mr. Li also found that many screws in the cabin were relatively smooth, but several screws on the fixed cover were suspected to have been screwed, the paint was warped, and a screw was bubbling. These circumstances made Mr. Li suspect that he had bought a maintenance car.

Mr. Li said that since the discovery of the problem, he has gone to more than 20 maintenance shops to consult, and the painters all think that there is something wrong with the spray painting of the vehicle's hood.

On September 25, the reporter contacted a local car testing agency, and the conclusion given by the paint appraisal certificate was that the hood of the vehicle had been repainted, and the marks from the screws showed that the hood was dismantled.

In order to verify the situation, the reporter accompanied Mr. Li to the Yancheng Penglong Senfeng Mercedes-Benz 4S store. Wang, the after-sales manager, said that the vehicle experienced many links, including the manufacturer, the transporter, the 4S store and so on. The 4S store also wrote a certificate to Mr. Li, promising that the 4S store did not do any treatment to the vehicle paint.

As for whether there is a problem with the vehicle, the 4S store has also uploaded the relevant files, hoping that the manufacturer will investigate.

The lawyer pointed out that even if the 4S store promised not to repair the vehicle paint, if it is confirmed that there is something wrong with the vehicle paint, the 4S store as the seller should also bear the corresponding responsibility.

In addition, according to the relevant provisions of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, if the 4S store knowingly conceals the sale of the vehicle, it will constitute a fraud, and Mr. Li can also make a request for a refund of one to three.

After receiving Mr. Li's complaint, the market supervision department of Yancheng Economic Development Zone has intervened in the investigation.

New car problems are common, and there are many 4S stores that continue to sell vehicles when there are vehicle problems. if 4S stores have done enough testing at the time of delivery, will there still be such problems?
