It is understood that SAIC Ningde production base officially started construction in April 2018 and was officially completed and put into production on September 28 this year, after 17 months of construction. According to the plan, the total investment of Ningde base is about 5 billion yuan, and the main engine factory of SAIC Ningde base has a total land of 2100 mu, which has four complete processes for vehicle production, such as stamping, welding, painting and final assembly. it can meet the needs of co-line production of new energy vehicles and traditional power vehicles. The final assembly workshop covers an area of 140000 square meters and is the largest final assembly workshop in Asia. It mainly produces SAIC MG Mingjue and SAIC Rongwei high-end models.

When the production base of SAIC Ningde was completed and put into production, its first production model, the Mingjue eHS, was also officially offline.

According to previously released data, sales of the Mingjue HS reached 8320 in August, up 26% from the previous month. From January to August this year, Mingjue's cumulative sales reached 169699 vehicles, an increase of about 9 per cent year-on-year.

The reason why Mingjue HS continues to sell well is due to its excellent product power. Mingjue eHS, which is launched this time, is a mixed version of Mingjue HS, which is almost the same as Mingjue HS in appearance, except in details. For example, the new car has added the "eHS" new energy logo in the front grille and the middle net to highlight the identity of its new energy model. In addition, the charging port at the right rear of the car body enhances its new energy properties. The length, width and height of the new car are 4574/1876/1685mm and the wheelbase is 2720mm.

In terms of interior decoration, the overall design of Mingjue eHS is simple and regular, and embellished with a large number of red stitches, it is very delicate. The biggest change in the interior of the new car is the replacement of a brand new electronic lever, coupled with a liquid crystal instrument and a suspension display screen.

In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with different styles of headlamp sets, appearance kits, panoramic images, different style wheels and parking radar according to different models.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid engine with a maximum power of 119kW / which can meet the national six b emissions. The maximum power of the fuel engine is 119kW (162Ps) and the maximum power of the motor is 90kW (122PS). It is composed of ternary lithium-ion batteries produced in Ningde era and a 10-speed EDU transmission system. It is understood that the acceleration of the new car can reach about 6 seconds.

Mingjue eHS meets European standards such as REACH and E-MARK. After its future launch, Mingjue eHS will land in the UK and other global markets to further improve the new energy product line.
